Early Start

I got up early this morning to work on the tunnel I've been digging in our giant dog bed. So Mrs. Stillman got up too. Probably to compliment me on the great job I was doing.
Then we went downstairs.
I guess because of that great piddle I did on the puppy pad last night, Mrs. Stillman didn’t force me out onto the frozen tundra behind that door. I was so pleased. To reward her,  I looked around for a pad to pee on. Right in front of the sink was this really nice one. It was tan and white and had teeny loops all over it. I especially liked it cause I could do my circles without creasing it all up like I do on those white ones.  So of course I used that one instead of the white one.
I was waiting for Mrs. Stillman to do THIS     >>>>>>>>>>

But instead, to my shock and horror, she actually raised her voice to me!

I dropped my ears immediately to avoid further voice intrusions, wondering what the hell (excuse me) she was so upset about.

Then she scooped me up and dropped me outside on that tundra!  OMD!
She abandoned me there and walked right up the steps.  I decided to take the risk.  I looked at the tundra.  I looked at the steps and took the plunge (so to speak). Without looking down, cause I knew the magic stair devil would knock me off if I did; I actually trotted up those steps right behind her.

As you can see, I made it. Thank Dog. But did I get a treat for that?  No!  Look. Not even a smile.
I was devastated.

Then for the first time in the whole time I have been her, Mrs. Stillman washed the puppy pad. I couldn’t figure that one cause there was a whole box of puppy pads on the tundra side of the door. Anyway there are no more scrunchy tan puppy pads on the floor now.  I guess I’m gonna have to use those white ones.
