Brainwashed!

Dear X Foster Mother,

I’m being brainwashed!!

When I got here I was an autonomous dog. I had my own ideas about what to do. But!! This morning while Mrs. Stillman was eating a bagel, and I was trying to get the bagel, Mrs. Stillman said “Go to your bed” and my feet automatically carried me to my dog bed. A little later I tried again and she said:  “Go lie down!” And my feet did the same thing! Mrs. Stillman was just beside herself, praising me and saying “You genius! Good girl!” and stuff like that. Then she phoned a couple of friends to tell them what happened. How embarrassing.

 Fortunately, the brainwashing doesn’t last very long, and I can eventually regain my free will; however, I am pretty upset about this. I mean. Aren’t I a sovereign dognation?

 

Not only that. I think I’m getting paranoid. I feel like someone is watching me all the time. It really makes me uncomfortable.

You’d better take me back.
